Africa health system compered to other continent

Compered to region or continent e.g Europe.  Healthcare in Europe is provided through a wide range of different systems run at individual national levels, with government subsidies available for citizens who cannot afford coverage Many European countries (and all European Union countries) offer their citizens a European Health Insurance Card provides insurance for emergency medical treatment insurance when visiting other participating European countries. There is the statutory Health Insurance for all and private health for those earning very well.

Why the poor health system in Africa

At the heart of the poor state of health in Africa lies the extreme poverty of its citizen. A lot of the population live on less than $1 (£0.55; €0.82) a day, but an astonishing 50 percent of the region’s health expenditure is financed by out-of-pocket payments from individuals.  The overall government expenditure on health is very low in Africa, less than 2% of drugs consumed in Africa are produced on the continent, because the system is not as tightly regulated , there are fake drugs and healers everywhere and currupt pratices .Most hospital lack modern health infrastructure and not enought highly specilize doctors, that the rich and high government travel outside the country instand ofpatronazing and financen the local hospital
